The health and safety of Truluck’s guests and employees have always been a priority for our organization. For that reason, since the earliest days of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have closely monitored all possible channels of information. This includes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in addition to city, state and national health and restaurant-specific resources.
While stringent cleaning and sterilization standards were always a part of Truluck’s everyday safe foodservice culture, each location has implemented additional protocols, under the supervision of a Certified Food Manager, to ensure the continued health and safety of all. Specifically:
As has always been our policy, staff who report symptoms of illness will not work until they are symptom-free.
Truluck’s locations will continue to have their hygienic procedures and technologies certified by Ecolab, a foremost world leader in health, hygiene and safety.
Truluck’s employees have been briefed and completed training through an educational video series regarding the most current Coronavirus prevention techniques, including the proper washing of hands, and proper surface sanitization methods.
Truluck’s staff, following CDC guidelines, and using EPA approved cleaning products, will disinfect each table/chairs/booth/counter between each use, with clean, previously unused cloths.
Restaurant fixtures including, but not limited to, handles, doors, credit card machines, Humm tablets, menus, elevators, and restroom fixtures, will be cleaned after each use, following the same method described above.
Our contracted cleaning service staff, who services our locations after-hours, will carry out expanded deep sanitization procedures each night.
While we have always required that our purveyors meet rigorous standards, we will continue to make use of state-of-the-art tracking and temperature monitoring. Further, we have made it a priority to confirm the exact chain of custody and safe handling procedures for every item that makes it to our tables.
