Before you Visit

We are a special occasion restaurant and we encourage our guests to dress for the occasion they’re celebrating.

We prefer a style of dress that is polished yet comfortable. We consider attire such as gym wear, sweatpants, ball caps, clothing with offensive language, images or odors, and exposed undergarments too casual for our restaurant.  Please be considerate of others and limit distractions that may interrupt the dining experience including disruptive behaviors, crying children, and audible technologies.

Truluck’s reserves the right to refuse service regardless of reservation status.

What's on

The Menu

Since opening our doors in 1992, Truluck’s has built every menu around a single principle—honoring the waters that provide for us. We work directly with conscientious harvesters dedicated to protecting marine habitats, so each dish reflects a commitment to ocean stewardship that extends well beyond the plate.

When Florida Stone Crab season opens on October 15th and runs through May 1st, it marks the highlight of our dining year. Only the claws are carefully harvested, allowing the crab to return to the water and naturally regrow. Presented chilled and pre-cracked alongside our signature mustard sauce—a recipe honed across three decades—it remains the cornerstone of the Truluck’s experience.

Our kitchen also showcases sesame-seared ahi tuna, golden pan-roasted scallops, jumbo shrimp, hand-shucked oysters, premium king crab, succulent lobster and seasonal selections that reflect the ocean’s ever-changing bounty. Guests who prefer land-based fare will discover USDA Prime steaks—expertly cut filets, bold New York strips and our Sunday-exclusive slow-roasted Prime Rib, served with shallot-rosemary au jus.

Round out your evening with a pour from our thoughtfully appointed wine cellar or a expertly built cocktail. Ask about TRU Ninety-Two, a refined three-course prix fixe for $59, offered until 6pm Monday through Saturday and all evening on Sunday. At the bar, Happy Hour features 50% off featured cocktails, wines and oysters.

The Woodlands Experience

Truluck’s The Woodlands– Seafood Worth Celebrating at Hughes Landing

Tucked along the scenic waterfront of Lake Woodlands, Truluck’s at Hughes Landing invites you to slow down, gather around the table and savor something truly special.

Our kitchen draws from the ocean’s finest offerings daily—Florida Stone Crab served chilled and pre-cracked during peak season, pristine king crab, hand-shucked oysters, seared scallops and seasonal catches that reflect what the water is giving at its absolute best. For those drawn to the land side of the menu, USDA Prime steaks are hand-selected and cooked with the kind of care that turns a dinner into an occasion.

Whether you’re marking a milestone, hosting a client or simply craving an evening where every detail feels considered, our team is here to make it memorable. Settle into the dining room, pull up a seat at the bar for Happy Hour or enjoy the dining room overlooking the lake with a handcrafted cocktail and fresh oysters.
