Zero-Proof Mocktails to Try
If you’re skipping out on buzzy beverages this January, try some of these zero-proof favorites from Beverage Director Dave Mattern.
Pure Spritz
The inspiration for the Pure Spritz is the Aperol Spritz. There are two simple ingredients in an Aperol Spritz, bubbles and Aperol. And there are two simple ingredients in our Pure Spritz: nonalcoholic bubbles and Ritual Aperitif.

“In the past, this zero-proof cocktail was impossible to pull off because nonalcoholic spirits had not come as far as they have today,” Mattern says. “We had to slog through a lot of weird, dealcoholized bubbles to finally find our shining star, but the one we are pouring—Kylie Minogue Sparkling Blanc—is legit, clean and low-calorie to boot. And Ritual Apertif has made a zero-calorie Aperol knockoff that is quite lovely.”
What you end up with is a killer low-calorie cocktail that is quite pure in flavor and a delightful sipper that will have you wondering which is better: the original Aperol Spritz or Truluck’s Pure Spritz?

Blackberry Bramble
“The inspiration for the Blackberry Bramble came from one of our most iconic cocktails, the Spicy Blackberry Margarita,” Mattern says. “In this zero-proof drink, just like in the cocktail, we use a house-made habanero lime syrup that brings an amazing ‘I-need-another-sip’ flavor.”
With flavors dialed up, Mattern suggests pairing the Blackberry Bramble with the Redfish Ponchartrain to meet spice with spice.


Berry Patch
The Strawberry Patch is the latest in line of Truluck’s fabulous cocktails that hit on the sweeter side. This zero-proof drink has muddled strawberries, almond rosewater syrup, and coconut soda, making it a full-bodied, satisfying drink.
“Berry Patch goes great with crab, particularly King Crab, as the brininess plays a delicious counterpoint to the refreshing fruitiness of the drink,” Mattern says.

The Hibiscus Fresca
This delicious Zero proofer made with Hibiscus Flowers has a tiki flair. Think tropical, beach, fresh fish and crab and sit back and sip.

The Dry You Must Try
