Yet sometimes, very rarely, a vintage comes along that stops us in our tracks and gives us all an even greater appreciation for the true pioneers of the industry. The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque cuvée from Maison Perrier-Jouët is a precious champagne made with grapes from the vineyard’s highest quality, “Grand Cru” terroirs and produced only in years of near-perfect conditions. The resulting wine is a true work of art, a unique interpretation of one exceptional year, and we’re very excited to announce that Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Brut Champagne is now available for a limited time at Truluck’s.

This is the epitome of a special occasion wine. The bottle itself is visually striking, adorned with the House’s signature Japanese white anemones in the Art Nouveau style — an ode to the elegant floral notes of the wine inside. The champagne is delicate yet richly complex, enchanting the nose and palate and inviting you back for more.

Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque is a distinct expression of chardonnay, which Perrier-Jouët has cultivated with unrivaled expertise since its founding in 1811. Once a bold choice for producing champagne, due to the grape’s delicate quality and vulnerability to frost, chardonnay is today more than ever at the heart of the Perrier-Jouët philosophy.

This truly iconic champagne was first produced in 1964. The 2014 vintage is majestic and harmonious with elegant structure. It’s made from nearly equal parts chardonnay and pinot noir, highlighting the Maison’s floral and intricate style and celebrating some of the best quality fruit from their 65 hectares of vineyards. Discover notes of juicy peach, poached pear, and tangy rhubarb. It pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, such as stone crab, lobster, and caviar, as well as with truffle fries and Parker House rolls.
