For the Love of Coffee

A mindful ritual that warms the soul, supports your health, and gives back to the community

At Truluck’s, every detail is carefully considered, because caring about the little things is what makes the big, unforgettable moments possible. Coffee is one such thing. It’s not the biggest or flashiest part of our dining experience, but it’s incredibly important to us.

I’m Dave Mattern, Beverage Director at Truluck’s, and I love coffee. Sometimes I think I wake up just to have a cup. The aroma is one of my favorite smells in the world. The coffee itself, delicious and rich, gives me the strength to face the day.

To create an extraordinary experience for our guests, we start with some of the world’s best green coffee beans. The coffee is sourced from small farms who share our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility, then roasted in small batches by an amazing local roaster and partner, Katz Coffee, so you can be sure it’s always fresh.

We grind it when you order it and serve it via French press or our incredible Eversys espresso machine. These metal filter methods ensure that our coffee is free of microplastics and full of flavor and body.

Every cup of coffee, espresso, or cappuccino is served with a complimentary, house-made Amoretti cookie. These gluten-free delights, made with almond flour, are the perfect accompaniment to our coffee.

It’s a delicious and satisfying ritual, and it’s even more fulfilling when you consider everything else a cup of Truluck’s coffee can do.

Health Benefits

We strive to offer choices that support a healthy lifestyle, and coffee plays a meaningful part in that. Here are a few health benefits of enjoying coffee the Truluck’s way:

  • Rich in antioxidants, which can protect against cellular damage
  • Improves alertness and cognitive function, thanks to caffeine
  • Boosts energy levels, metabolic rate and fat burning
  • Improves mood and may reduce risk of depression
  • May support heart, liver and digestive health
  • May lower risk of diabetes, neurodegenerative diseases and certain cancers

Serving freshly roasted coffee, ground to order, helps preserve the integrity of the coffee’s complex profile and enhance all the benefits above, ensuring you get the most from every cup.

Opportunity to Give Back

In addition to its great taste and myriad health benefits, enjoying a coffee at Truluck’s is also a simple yet meaningful way to help those in need. Our “Press On” initiative is still going strong, and a dollar from every French press and Espresso Martini sold in our restaurants is donated to the PTSD Foundation of America in support of our veterans. You can also show your solidarity and bring the experience home by purchasing Katz “Press On” coffee by the bag.
